EFFECTIVE READING

One of the important element in  Self-management is building a habit to
continues  learning or be a man who  always thirsty for information and knowledge.

Henry Ford, founder of General Motors says that "Anyone WHO stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone WHO keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. "

No matter how old we are, if we stop learning it mean we are old, whereas if we always learn can make us stay young. Since the best thing in the world would we get to keep our minds for
still young.

One of the most effective way to learn is by reading. But unfortunately most of us never had time to read. The main reason that we have that we often rush job. We are trapped in routine and work pressure so we do not have the opportunity to sharpen our saws, as told by Stephen Covey in his book
"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" as follows:

Total Success

Total Success is Determined by Your Thoughts, Beliefs and Actions
By Dr. Joe Capista

Many people say they want success, yet they are not willing to do what it takes to achieve their desired outcome. I am a believer in Total Success. Total Success requires more then a successful business and a great income. Total Success is about having a balanced life, giving back and enjoying what you do.

In order to achieve Total Success there are specific thoughts and beliefs you must have. There are also certain actions you must take.

Success in anything goes beyond the obvious. Although you need a certain amount of skill and knowledge, your successes will come from the way you think, feel and act, coupled with intense emotion and a steadfast belief in “self.”

To achieve Total Success you must set goals. Setting goals cannot be a hit and miss process. It has to be systematic, deliberate and the cornerstone of every other aspect of what you do in order to create a successful, abundant, happy, and balanced life.

Review - Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain by David Eagleman

David Eagleman's previous book, Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives, was a delightful collection of short fables, each offering a wish-fulfillment image of life after death in which the wish turns out to contain its own perverse consequences. The fable principle was grounded in a nicely ironic psychology, subtly underpinned by Eagleman's own profession, neuroscience. Using fiction, Eagleman found a neat way of revealing how the mind cannot escape the contradictions of its underlying construction.

With this new book, Eagleman dispenses with fiction. This is a straight account of his own neuroscientific beliefs. Belief is the appropriate term, because Incognito isn't precisely an examination of neuroanatomy or neurological case histories; nor is it an exploration of the philosophical struggle involved in explaining the relationship between brain and mind. It is, rather, a breathless account of possible implications opened up by the rise of neuroscience as a way of looking at the world.

Review: Change Anything: The New Sciece of Personal Success

Reviewed by: Dr. Charles Erlandson

"Change Anything" comes with a risky and audacious promise: if you apply the principles of this book to your life you will produce sustainable change in your behavior that will noticeably improve your life! To make such a huge claim about a topic of such immense practical importance is, indeed, audacious.

So does "Change Anything" live up to its claim? Yes, and No.

YES
The fact that I think this book lives up to anything even approaching its bold claim is a high recommendation for this book. Here's what the book delivers that makes me believe that if you actually understand and faithfully use the principles of this book that you can, indeed, change many of your behaviors for the better.

First, the authors free us from a powerful mind trap: the simplistic belief that if only we had more willpower we'd succeed in changing our lives. The reality the authors argue for (persuasively) is that while willpower is still important, changing behavior turns out to be as much about "skill" as it is about "will." And the truth is that certain skills for changing our behaviors can be taught. The authors also point out that that often (for example when you go to Las Vegas into a casino) you can't see what's controlling. However, "If you can see it, you can change it." "Change Anything," then, is a book about seeing the hidden influences in our lives and using them to change our behaviors from ones with negative to ones with positive consequences.

Fear of Success or Fear of Failure?

Are You Afraid to Success or afraid to Fail?
Someone ever asked, "Is the fear of success really exists?". It could be just a reason to avoid fear of failure.
But firstly we want to ask: "What's the definition of success?". If we imagined that as a luxury car, big house, a great career ... mmmm. .. Maybe not quite right.

I prefer to associated success with "I'm living with my passion, I LOVE what I do, I jump out of bed in the morning and can not wait to start my day, I am sharing my gifts with others ... etc. "

But we need to be careful with that sweet sentence above because we can get stuck in the comfort zone and did not aware that we have potential.
There is one word that is often forgotten: "STRETCH". We Want our success to evolve - to represent more of what we want to become.

That why we want to stretch our zone. With stretch We then make plans and take actions.

The Abundant Universe, No Lack, Except In The Mind Our Own

Natural resources, technology, motivation
What does it mean? like in the scriptures, both Islamic and Christian religions, there is mentioned when the Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his son, and replaced one of the sheep by God at the time, stated that "from this day thou and your generation offspring will live abundantly.

" That is True! The universe is so abundant, so wonderful. Sea so many fish, forests, abundant sun, there is no shortage, except in our own minds. A lot of people who feel lack of energy, the oil runs out. Just look around us, now technology with our minds can find a solar power technology, which increasingly cheap, and then also fuel technologies using water (H2 + O), and then what happens is the rest of the discharge is H2O, the disposal is water.

Imagination More Superior Of Volition

It is said by a French doctor named Emile QUE: "When there is a conflict between wanting and the imagination, certainly imagination more superior." In his book One Minute Millionaire by Mark Victor Hansen, explained very well.

Given an example: When a child is told: "There is no monster under the bed. Take it easy, no monsters under the bed." But when the lights extinguished, wild imagination and finally the child was frightened. Well if you want to make calm the child.

Personal Development to Success

I want to ask: "What distinguishes a person who failed with those who succeed?". Are they successful because they have a lot of money, more time, supported by the family? My next question how much money and time that you should have for success? What is the family support?

I do not deny the importance of the factors above. But I want to say is all that is NOT the determining factor.

Do motivation people we know like Bill Gates, Anthony Robbins, Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook), Harland Sanders (founder of KFC) are those who have a lot of money early in his career? The answer is no.

Secrets of Motivating Yourself

Motivating yourself is something quite important. When you fail or face challenges. Not always able to help people around you. Nothing you can rely on other than yourself. Which can only determine your own destiny is yourself.
People usually lose motivation because of three things:
1. lose confidence,
2. lose focus
3. lose direction.

That why, you should be confident that you will be SUCCESS and SUCCESS, focus again on what exactly you want and get back to where the direction your headed. But of course it’s need effort to change and re-excited!
